The most difficult place I’ve ever shot (technically speaking…)

......

I do a bunch of work for The Drake Hotel It’s really nice having a client that trusts me, is super hip, attracts great people and has a wonderful staff to work with. Anyway, so aside from “event” stuff, I’ve also done some promotional and interior work for them. Just thought I’d post an example of this one image I’ve been working on for a long time. The dining area of the Drake is the most difficult place I’ve ever shot. So many different light sources, colours and intensities. And as if that wasn’t enough, It’s also a dining room and people are often kinda weird about having their photographs taken while eating. Anyway, after a lot of work, I think I have a very successful image. Maybe I’ll post some more of them. But probably not anytime soon. I’m so busy preparing for The Eddie Adams Workshop in New York, priorities ya know? Which is too bad because I don’t put up nearly enough stuff on this blog. I deal with photos everyday, I have to get better at sharing them. Something to work on…
