A couple weeks ago, Prince Charles visited Ryerson University, they asked me to come by and get some press shots for an immediate news release. I grabbed a second shooter for the event due to logitics, thanks to the always outstanding Arash Moallemi for getting great stuff from his position..

Out of all the images, as so often happens, what is useable for a client is generally uninteresting to me.
I enjoy something, more like this…

A motion hair beauty project I shot and edited for my Friend Charise. She’s an instructor at Avada and needed a video to enter an internal contest.

New Promo Cards

I just got my new promo cards in.
I’m really impressed with the printing.
They look great. However, sadly they screwed up the back of one of my cards, put it upside down on the flip.
Annoying, and it took some convincing, but I managed to get them to refund me the cost plus shipping in a credit so I can reorder them.
Which is alright.

Aveda Prom

Emergency photoshoot.
A couple frantic calls one night had me in a cab and rushing to shoot this though a friend of mine who works for Aveda.
To say this all came together as it happened would be a bit of an understatement, however All things considered I’m quite happy with it. — It’s good to stay out of your comfort zone sometimes.
no plans, no studio, no light, no prep, just GO.

It pushes you, makes you think on your feet.

This is looser edit.
I’d edit tighter for presentation, but eff, whats a blog good for if you don’t put a lot of things on it?
